The 2025 Dodge Charger has been teased in pre-production form.

Dodge teased the next-generation Charger on social media with test pictures.

The 2025 Dodge Charger will be based on the Charger SRT Daytona concept and will have an all-electric drivetrain with a Hurricane six-cylinder engine under the hood.

Dodge has not revealed any specifics regarding the next Charger's four-door body.

Fans of B-Body Mopars, rejoice! Dodge has teased the next-generation Charger on social media, and it appears that the Charger SRT Daytona concept will be retained. That implies the Dodge Charge will be available in two-door version again, at least in one body style.

Dodge emphasizes that this is still a prototype car. However, given that we're likely months away from seeing the production version, this isn't far off from the next-generation Charger sheetmetal.

More crucially, Dodge says it will be accessible by the end of 2024.

Surprisingly, Dodge did not reveal the back of this pre-production Charger. That may be because the next Charger's nose is nice, but these front-centric images could also be Dodge's technique of disguising a pair of exhaust pipes.

While we know the forthcoming Charger will have a battery-electric variant, there is a lot of conjecture that it will also have a 3.0-liter Hurricane inline six-cylinder engine under the hood. We also know that the Hemi V8 will not be available in the next-generation vehicle.

All of these questions will most likely be resolved by the end of 2024. Hopefully, Charger fans won't have to pay much more than the $36,920 sticker price of the final base-model Chargers, but we won't know for sure until the production model hits dealer lots.
